FOTD

Another FOTD ( face of the day) for my moss-grow blog. Sorry, sorry, sorry....... for updating nothing at all, grr hate to say sorry 'cos I know I 'll keep making it again =))))))))))))). Anyway, this FOTD post will be a little bit different. Its not my face of the day, its about my models'. One of them is my new beloved friend SU KET, just known her for a while but I swear, Ket 's the most lovely and sweetest gurl ever. And you know what, she 's luckily one of rare Asian girls who have amazing eye shapes. You definitely just wish to be her make up artist since you can create every kind of looks and styles from her face. She fits everything quite amazingly.

Make up look for Duong Boi project ( I don't know exactly what project was, kind of her homework since Duong studies to be a designer). The look was inspired by 80s pin up girls with a red-peachy lip made by mixing lip gloss with some eyeshadows. Then I made it a little bit modern with shimmery gold color all over her eye lids. Also I used Dr Jart BB cream to even out her skin tone, giving her a matte pale skin. Anyway, the make up was nothing compared to her smile. Look, best smile and freaking amazing portrait ever, huh?

My Su, again :D. This time was for her photo contest and she asked me to create a kind of rock chick look but in a gloomy day. For her skin, I made it simple to concentrate on her eye, applying Shu Uemura foundation ( my new found, I 'll post a review soon on it) all over her skin and covering all her imperfections with MAC studio finish concealer, a pale pink to stain her cheek then a pink nude lip ( MAC angel mix with NYX orange soda). With the eyes, its all about blending between black eyeshadow all over the lids and brown one at the crease, making it smokey effect.

Nhi is my friend 's model. Actually, the make up was more intense in reality with purple eye brow ( freaking, I know =))), smokey purple eye and shimmer purple from haft cheek to the temple.

Its all I done recently. Not to much and I know, its still not professional and well-done enough. I am simply a make-up lover, just trying to practice to improve my passion and skill. Mac frost lipstick - Angel review

Mấy hôm nay trời quá nóng nên hầu như mình mọc rễ ở trong nhà. Điện thì cứ chập chờn cứ 1 phút cắt 1 lần, nghe bảo là cháy cầu chì bla bla. Nó cứ on- off loạn xì ngầu điên tiết lên đc. Có nhà ai ở khu nào ngoài Khương Đình gặp cái chuyện ngớ ngẩn như vậy ko?

Anw, vì rảnh nên hn mình sẽ làm 1 cái post review. Dạo này mình bị ngộ lại mỹ phẩm nên mua rất nhiều thứ nhưng chưa kịp chụp ảnh, trong máy còn sẵn mấy cái ảnh chụp từ 1 tháng trc này thôi nên mình lấy làm luôn thể =)) Thật ra hồi đầu lúc quyết mua e son angel này, mình cũng ngồi net toét mắt search review với swatch, nên phòng khi ai cần thì mong là cái post này có hữu ích :P

À thông báo 1 chuyện là từ nay mình sẽ cố post cả TA và tiếng Việt trong cùng 1 bài để mọi người tiện theo dõi. Tại hôm trc 1 bạn cm bảo là sao mình ko post tiếng Việt. Thật ra post cả 2 thứ mất tgian 1 chút, nên cái post này mình làm tạm tiếng Việt trc. Hôm nào rảnh mình post tiếng anh cho các bạn followers ko phải người Việt đọc nha ^^

Em í đây, Mac lipstick dòng frost màu Angel. Giới thiệu cho đầy đủ tiểu sử thì em í là 1 trong những màu son nude nổi tiếng nhất của MAC ( tất nhiên đời đầu thôi, dạo này MAC ra nhiều màu son đẹp quá đi). Nói chung là theo nx ji mình đọc đc, thì em í là 1 trong những e son nude "đáng mua" nhất và ko nên bỏ qua nếu bạn thik son MAC.

Lúc mua e í là đang bị điên cuồng muốn tìm 1 em son nude hồng, đọc rì viu toét mắt khắp blogspot và makeupalley thì thấy bảo e này là màu nude hồng đc chuộng nhất, oánh dễ nhất rồi đẹp nhất bla bla. Khổ cực mãi cuối cùng đặt mua đc 1 em. Nói chung là ko mộng mơ đc như trên youtube và blogspot mô tả. Như cái chị Kim và nhiều chị khác , môi các chị ấy nở oánh e í xong nhìn màu mỡ đẹp quá đi. Mình oánh lên dùng đủ mọi cách, bôi lipbalm trc, dùng miết tay, dùng cọ... đủ mọi technique luôn nhưng mà nhìn lên vẫn ko đc lung linh lắm. Sau này tìm hiểu ra mới biết dù màu e í swatch ra tay rất đẹp, nhưng vì là dòng frost nên khi lên môi màu bợt và khô. Màu hồng nude cũng tuỳ thuộc vào da từng người, với các sắc tố màu da khác nhau có người oánh e í đẹp, có người nhìn chả ra làm sao.

Mãi 1,2 tháng gần đây mình phát hiện ra 1 cách oánh son nude mới do 1 chị trên youtube hướng dẫn ( xl chị e lỡ quên mất tên chị rồi :-s). Chị í bảo với các loại son nude thì thay vì miết son vào môi, bạn hãy dặm dặm thỏi son thật đều tay cho đến khi lên màu. Với cách này thì màu son sẽ ko bị bợt tứ tung và đọng thành từng mảng. Mình làm theo thấy đỡ hơn hẳn so với mấy cách cũ. Thôi nói nhiều quá đi, xl các bạn swatchs đây :D

1 mình e í trên môi sẽ nhìn ra như này, e í là nude màu hoa cà ( nude kiểu mauve), hồng da hơi có sắc tím, chất son lì và ko nhũ. E í oánh hợp nhất với kiểu mắt smokey. Nói chung cứ mắt oánh đậm thì môi dùng son nude như angel là quá hợp.


Kết hợp với gloss ko màu nhìn sẽ đỡ khô và bóng, trông đẹp hơn nhẩy?

Tiện thể, up luôn mấy cái swatchs để so sánh Angel với 2 màu son của NYX :

Nhìn 2 cái ảnh trên các bạn thấy sẽ thấy rõ sự khác biệt giữa 3 màu hồng. Nyx strawberry milk bợt nhất, nhìn ra tay thế thôi chứ lên môi rất ít sắc tố hồng. MAC angel nude thiên về hồng có pha ánh tím. Còn NYX narcissus hồng đào, ra tay thế chứ lên môi thiên về tông lạnh chứ ko nhìn tuồng chèo thế này đâu. Nói chung là cùng 1 màu hồng mà các hãng làm đc đủ trò, phát chế ra đc đủ kiểu màu. Mình thấy thật yêu các bác làm mỹ phẩm quá đi =))

Tiện thể up luôn cái FOTD ( face of the day) của cái ngày mình làm swatch này ( tức là từ 1 tháng trc =)) ). Dạo này mình hay make mắt màu nâu kiểu neutral và kẻ line nâu nhẹ bằng mixing medium. Ko đc đẹp lắm nhưng thôi kệ up cho đỡ mốc blog.

I come back, girls :D

It has been 3-4 months since the last post. OK, maybe I always start all posts by writing this =)) "I am too busy" or "I have to study hard for mid test" bla bla =)) Too boring reasons. The fact simply is I am just too lazy to post anything. My bad. Promise to myself not to be like this anymore, aja aja fignting.

Anyway, this post will be a little bit different. It isn't about make up or skincare things, it 's gonna be a fashion post. Recently I was invited to lookbook by my sister. Purple smokey eye make up for Asian girl

Asian girls have smaller eye shape and its really hard to apply smokey eye make up.This tutorial is easy and simple to deal with that problem. Hope u guys enjoy this tut, thanks for watching^^

NYX round lipstick swatch

I got this haul for a long time but I am too lazy to make this post. I find the color shown on NYX webside isnt real in reality and some swatchs from other blogs arent too. Maybe the reason is differecnce of the lip base color. For example, I got sunflower after I see swatch on neccesarrymakeup, it looks so orange - peachy. However when I got it, it just shown red on my lip, so weird. And here we go, the swatch of NYX round lipstick.

I got Fig, Pumpkin Pie, Narcissus, Femme and Sunflower

Pumpkin Pie ( fav nude color) : orange nude lip - wearable with every skin color and every situation

Narcissus : baby pink with purple tint

Femme (my fav one ) : peachy color with red tint

Sunflower : red color with orange shimmer , it looks the same as femme in this photo, however it shows much more red when femme looks peachy on the lip

Park Boom inspired make up look

Bommie is my favourite singer. She has a doll face and amazing voice. Today I made the look with a sharp eyeliner and pinky lip. Here is what I use for this look :

Random things

Its quite late now, so just a quick random post for u guys who dont know the meaning of FOTD, EOTD, LOTD. A long time ago when I first became a blogger, I read other beauty blogs and didnt understand what FOTD or EOTD means. Maybe they are already familiar to you, right? So shame on me, I just knew recently. If u are new on beauty blogspot, just like me, hope you find this post useful.

By the way, I have just got MAC fluidline in blacktrack. It's so creamy and intense. Love the eyeliner. Here are the look I created today with my new gel eyeliner :D

I found it much easier to control than liquid eyeliner.

Really like this stuff, I also got Bobby brown long wear gel eyeliner sepia ink, will try to make reviews on them soon :D
